Give Jack his jacket, whoever is behind keeping this island clean, is doing a pretty good job. Back in the 80s St Maarten was littered everywhere, until they began the Keep Your Island Clean campaign. Now since Ive been, the only problem I have in the photos are all the garbage cans etc. The Pond and the Lagoon has to be cleaned up, but I toured and videod the whole island St Martin and Sint Maarten, and there was a time where we would get trashed because our side had so many garbage and sewage issues. We still have a long way, but when I post all videos, the entire island you will really see how gorgeous it is. Now we have to get them to really work on the Salt Pond and Lagoon, clean the up. PUT A MORATORIUM ON the sand dumping.
