Give us light in our time of darkness, dear God, give us peace in our time of war. Give us comfort in our time of sorrow, give us hope in our time of despair. Give us strength in our time of weakness, give us courage in our time of fear. Give us wisdom in our time of uncertainty, give us clarity in our time of confusion. Help us now, dear God, for the need is great and the time is short. Raise your hand to still the storms around us, open the doors to understanding, show us the way to walk in confidence once more. Hold back the gathering shadows, call down your angels to tend your suffering children. Show us your love, that we may love again.
