Given the 23 surgeries that I had at CHKD (Childrens Hospital for the Kings Daughters) as a kid. I really like this new show on Fox called The Red Band Society it really captures some of that although a lot of the kids in this show have serious health problems it shows the human side of it and is kind of inspiring in many ways. I remember when I was maybe 7 or 8 going in for one of the many eye surgeries I had there and I asked my mom why I had to have so many surgeries then I met a kid who was 3 years old coming in for his 26th surgery. I never even considered complaining about any more of my surgeries. And when we were there together about to go for our surgeries.
