Given the leverage Borno state has over the other in terms of export potentials. It is very likely that very soon as the tension and the insurgency subsides, there will be a conscious move to promote the export potential of the state beyond our borders, banki town, Gamboru ngala, kirawa, abadam, mobbar, and the rest should be placed as potential export processing zones, (EPZ) and clear guidelines and stimulus should be made to support local cottage industries with minimum capital to spring the growth of clustered start - up, as well as Sami growing businesses ( SGBs) which will interface with the capacity development of entrepreneurs as well as investors. Other aspects that will also feature may include a trade free zone ( TFZ). Im an optimist and strongly believe one day all this will happen in Borno and when the time comes , the enormous potential of this once great state, will hold sway over others. That Im sure is one of the prospects of development and Im confident given the time and the stability in the region, Kashim shettima will do just fine.
