Giving Thanks to Bari Saunders and the members of The Rotary Club at Cinco Ranch for inviting Erin & Monty Ballard to share their story at the November 18th meeting. Monty talked about the events in his life leading up to the Ballard Foundation funding the construction of The Ballard House. He still chokes up when he talks about what Erin has gone through the past four years in her personal battle with cancer and his admiration for those who must travel here from around the world for their treatments. Monty serves on the Cinco Charities Board of Directors and Erin serves as a volunteer at The Ballard House alongside her Willow Fork friends. The Ballards generosity was instrumental in opening the doors in 2014 for over 905 patients and their caregivers to have a home away from home right here in Katy, Texas when receiving treatment for life threatening illnesses. Giving thanks for our good neighbors, Erin and Monty Ballard.
