Giving a craft talk at Tin House Summer Workshop this morning. Of course, Im not remotely intimidated by the prospect of looking out at an audience that will include the likes of Mary Ruefle, Kelly Link, Anthony Doerr, Kevin Young, Nick Flynn, Antonya Nelson, Karen Russell, Matthew Dickman, Matthew Zapruder, Matthew Specktor, Joy Williams, Jo Ann Beard, Ann Hood, Dinaw Mengestu, Mat Johnson, Dana Spiota, Jonathan Dee, Vanessa Veselka, Wells Tower, Sarah Shun-lien Bynum, Rob Spillman, Elissa Shappell, and dozens of other people who I forgot to mention or who I dont know. Its cool. Im cool. Im going to go barf now.
