Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got one flat!! Its hard enough to stay motivated and on track but finding a style of exercise that you enjoy reduces the risk of falling off the band-wagon. For me, lifting weights is just that. Being strong is so empowering and has helped me overcome various injuries by developing muscular strength. Heres a few tips on how to stay motivated: 1- take it one day at a time 2- surround yourself with positivity 3- set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) 4- believe in yourself 5- recognise your progress 6- dont compare yourself to others. EVER. 7- create a vision board 8- reward yourself (not with food. EVER)
