Giving young people without work experience is not the risk for companies and organizations. The risk is not in hiring the youth.The risk is sticking with what youve got and expecting a different result. Experience is what they always say when they try to stop the youth. What matters more than experience is character and judgment, and what you really believe needs to happen to make things right. If its all about experience, therell be no need for people to go on compulsory retirement. Give the youth a chance, because what they lack in experience, they make up for in energy and creativity. Asking about work experience is discrimination against young people and remnants of colonial mental against youth. It is equal to saying, if u are physically challenged u cant work here. Until we change the philosophy that says u cant apply for this or that job unless u have this or that years of working experience, there would many young people who could have made a huge difference.
