Glad my diddy said do whatever you can to stay out of de mines. I knew that work is poison yet it pays very well. Most people are in denial about their problems. Being SO PROUD about what they do is killing them. Ignorance runs that place. By the time they are 40-50 they are thinking on their death bed. The mining water is covered in heavy metals cause the machines are left in those mountain holes. Breathing the air there is not safe even the smokers have a good time breathing that poison air. I remember the 70s there and know about the boom in the Coal business. Know men that died from black lung. Friends dad would let me ride in his truck to home from elementary school. I remember him trying to breathe. Did not know at that time how bad coal mining is. Me dad worked in those holes and I still remember the smell of his clothes and steel toe boots. Glad he came out alive.
