Glad we dont ship - I thought it was odd that just yesterday, I had been chatting/warning 2 of my friends about shipping and the tracking of those USDA Certificates, but I never really thought that laws would be written to enforce it - well SURPRISE! SURPRISE! guess which state is stepping up to the plate for more Government regulations and micro-managing: This just in my mail this morning, from Pure Breed Breeders: Please note that starting on June 1st, 2014, we will be requiring all breeders to submit a copy of each puppys Health Certificate in addition to the Vet Health Report (VHR) and Vaccination History prior to payment being made. The reason for this new requirement is that there are current proposals being introduced in some states, such as California, that copies of Health Certificates be sent to the state Health Department when any dogs are shipped into their state. The good news is that many of you are already submitting both of these forms to us and we encourage you to continue doing so. Any breeders that are not currently submitting the puppys Health Certificate will need to begin doing so starting on June 1st, 2014. We highly recommend that you start submitting the Health Certificates along with the VHR and Vaccination History now so youll be ready when this policy goes into effect on June 1st, 2014.
