Gladys and I dressed in multiple layers tonight before attending the unique night pep rally at Central High School. According to Chuck Conerly, President of the Central Boosters Club, it was the first night pep rally at the school and was well attended. There was participation from all 3 of the feeder schools. The achievements of the football team, other sports teams, cheerleaders, and the band were recognized with the trophies lined up in front of the stands. In multiple ways, excellence has been demonstrated by Central students this year. Central will host the Region playoff game tomorrow night against Sonoraville. Despite the cold, I plan to be present. For now, I will sign off by simply saying, GO Mighty LIONS.
