Glass City CrossFit is announcing a new strength and conditioning program that is geared towards high school level athletes. Starting Saturday, June 7th, Glass City CrossFit will be offering a specialized class that is designed to improve athlete’s strength, power, speed, agility, and endurance. Our certified coaches and trainers run each session to include exercises and drills intended to increase sports performance and reduce risk of injury. Our objective is to supplement your current strength program with our proven CrossFit approach to strength and conditioning. Areas of focus: Dynamic warm-ups and stretching to increase flexibility and coordination Iso-stability movements to increase balance and core/trunk strength Strength work: learning and executing Olympic lifts with proper form and technique. Strengthening posture and position through functional movements. Plyometrics, speed and agility drills that are sport specific. High intensity metabolic conditioning workouts designed to prepare athletes for the physical and mental demands found in their sport. At Glass City CrossFit we understand that the demand of athletes is universal. Our programming meets the needs of athletes by crafting a comprehensive strength and conditioning class to assist them in attaining their goals. Cost: $15 per session $120 for 10 visit punch card Schedule: (each session is approximately 75 minutes) Saturdays @ 11:30 AM Tuesdays @ 9:00 AM Space is limited to 20 athletes per session Athletes can sign-up by emailing GCCF at info@glasscitycrossfit
