GlaxoSmithKline Latvia - committed to the community GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Latvia has issued its first local Corporate Responsibility Report covering the role that it plays in Latvian society, its impact on the healthcare system and patient lives, as well as the environment, employees and the community. The report includes company’s approach to corporate responsibility and the actions GSK Latvia has taken to advance responsible, ethical and community - oriented practices in business. Dins Smits, General Manager of GSK Latvia: „We have always strived to deliver long-term value to local community in many ways, i.e., by being a role model for ethical business behaviour, responsible employment and reliable stakeholder relationships. Our inclusion as the first pharma company in Latvia in the State Revenue Services “White List” is a testimony to our ethical record and influence in raising the ethical benchmark of the pharma industry in this country.
