Glen Campbell and Larry Gatlin- Farther Along For Glen... and any caretaker out there tonight taking care of a loved one... Its been 10 years since my Dad passed .... I still remember his eyes lighting up and the big smile when I reached his house... I learned a lot from him... I tried my best each day to pick it up for others and make my community a little better place.... He did it for years and years... For the caretakers taking care of a loved one ... Its a lifes journey no one else will ever know.... It was a privilege and honor to take care of my Dad during his last year.... I love and miss him.... Our mom ....the day he passed walked over and gave me a gentle hug and said: Thank you son, I love you.... She took care of so many during her time growing up at Unalakleet.... Some things the elders never talk about .... Its amazing the life they lived before all these modern stuff... She hitched up dog sleds to go visiting... Clothes?.... Food?... There was no store ... Not even any airplanes.... It was hunt it, gather it, or grow it.... .... It was subsistence ... Or die.... .... This is why she is voting for ... And Im voting for Mark Begich.... The song?... For Glen Campbell ... Struggling through the same disease as my Dad.... Prayers for you Glen .... And for your care taker... A hug and a thank you....
