Glen Ellyn Historical Society Museum Store Manager Job Description Posted on September 30, 2013 Part Time Position The GEHS is seeking an experienced retailer with initiative, a passion for history, and an entrepreneurial spirit to administer its retail operation known as Stacy’s Corners Store in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The Museum Store Manager oversees all aspects of the retail operation including product development, vendor relations and purchasing, merchandise presentation and sales, inventory control, and oversees store/lobby areas. The position responsibilities include managing the History Center Store’s point-of-sale system. The manager will recruit, schedule and manage volunteer clerks. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of two years’ retail experience. The Museum Store Manager will understand and support the mission of the organization in all aspects of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and its programming.
