Glen got a phone call during breakfast this morning. The four girls were jabbering and having a great time talking until Grandpa said to the person on the other end of the call, "Do you have anything that will kill dodder?" One of the twins, thinking he had said "daughter" instantly stopped talking and she looked at me with huge and questioning wide eyes. I quickly explained that "dodder" is a parasite that kills the alfalfa and that was what he was talking about, not "daughter" as in their mother! The look of relief that came across her face was comical, to say the least!
