GlendaPH still maintains its maximum sustained winds of 120 kph and with gustiness up to 150 kph. The eye of the typhoon is estimated to be 80km ENE of Catarman, #NorthernSamar and is still moving westward at a speed of 24kph. It is expected to make landfall in the vicinity of #Albay and #Sorsogon this afternoon. It is also expected that the storms eye will then cross to #SouthernLuzon. The current forecast track remains somehow unchanged from last nights as the typhoon will pass through #MetroManila by Wednesday morning and is expected to exit landmass in #Zambales by Wednesday afternoon. Public Storm Warning Signal is now issued in #Albay, #CamarinesNorte, #CamarinesSur, #Catanduanes, #Marinduque, #Masbate, #NorthernSamar, #Sorsogon, southern #Quezon and northern parts of #Samar and #EasternSamar. Winds of 101-185 kph is expected in at least 18 hours in these areas. #MetroManila, #Bataan, #Biliran, #Bulacan, #Pampanga, northern #Leyte and the rest of #CALABARZON, #Samar and #EasternSamar is now under Public Storm Warning Signal #2. Winds of 61-100 kph is expected in these areas for the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, Public Storm Warning Signal #1 is hoisted in #Romblon, #Mindoro, the rest of #CentralLuzon, #Quirino, #LaUnion, #Pangasinan, #NuevaVizcaya, #Camotes Islands and southern parts of #Leyte. In these areas, winds of 30-60 kph is expected in at least 36 hours. Let us be prepared for the impending hazards like strong winds, storm surge, floods and landslides.
