Glentoran Remembers An act of Remembrance will take place ahead of tomorrows Danske Bank Premiership fixture against Glenavon at the Oval. The Rev. David Thompson, our club Chaplain, will lead a short service starting at 2.20pm. This will take place at the Directors entrance. Chairman, Stephen Henderson will lay a wreath on behalf of the club and the ode of remembrance will be recited. Representatives from the Glentoran Academy will also participate by laying wreaths. There will be a minutes silence prior to kick off and the players will all wear armbands during the game. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
