Glenys & Max went over to Mexico to visit dear friends (see first photo). Afterwards, we tried to cross the border, but after three hours of a line that was barely crawling, Glenys got out of line and tried to climb over the fence. Next thing you know, she was put in jail--ya know how those jails are over there. So, being self-deluded and trying to be a hero by busting her out of jail, I ended up in the clink, too. Finally, due to Glenys superior intelligence, we were able to bust out of jail. Glenys picked out the perfect car for our getaway--she imagined we would be a redoux of Bonnie and Clod. But after trying to get the old thing cranked up, Max got the crazy idea, lets go green, he said, and find a couple of horses to pull this buggy. Then, crossing over the wide open unguarded spaces of the border between Mexico and the US, Bonnie and her clod, er, husband, made it across what used to be the Colorado River but is now just a dried up arroyo about ten miles wide. But we made it home OK wondering what will happen to us when they find the graffiti we chiseled on those old jail walls back in ol Mehico.
