In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not (John 1:1 - 1:5 KJV). The word of God is God and made all things... In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:1 - 1:3 KJV). God spoke words and creation came into being. The Lord created the world with spoken words. The Logos of God. All of the revelation of God in whatever expression. Spoke, from the words of prophets, etc. Gods mind got revealed in the logos of God which became flesh. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me (John 1:14 - 1:15 KJV). Jesus is the logos of God made flesh. Hes Gods opinion, thoughts and ideas. Extraordinary miracle of the Word of God made flesh. He was the totality of Gods mind and will revealed to us. If youve seen me, youve seen the Father. Jesus was Gods opinion, idea, will, thoughts, etc. We were born again, we were born of the same Word of God that gave birth to Jesus. Its beyond scientific miracle. It can be explained, understood, ... For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty (2 Peter 1:16 KJV). Peter was there with Jesus three and half years. When we tell you about Jesus, we are not deceiving you... For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (2 Peter 1:17 KJV). Oh boy. Peter was there at the month of transfiguration. And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts (2 Peter 1:18 - 1:19 KJV). He talked about what the heard, saw, experienced. He was taking their minds to something. He said that we have a more sure word of prophesy. Hes dealing with the scriptures now which is more important than our experiences. You can take the word of God as a light that shines in a dark place. Take the word of God with you. Hold it as a light shines in darkness until the day arises. If youre going through rough and tough times, take these scriptures with you until the day breaks in your situation and you have your miracle. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost (2 Peter 1:20 - 1:21 KJV). The prophecy doesnt come from man, they come from God. Holy men of God. Pastor is not a preacher but a man of God. Solomon was called a preacher in spite of the fact that he was the wisest man that lived before Jesus. David was called a man of God. Moses was a man of God. They didnt start that way. They didnt know what to do initially, but, became men of God when the revelation of the church was delivered to them. Its a revelation of Christ and the church. Moses was standing with the rod when the presence of God came upon it and it became the rod of God. It was a rod of God with which to do miracles. When that revelation is delivered to a man, it alters the course of that man completely and he cant free himself from it. When Moses received the information from God for the church, he became Moses the man of God, same with David. The vision for God and the church was given to David and he became a holy man of God. This was what Peter was referring to as holy men of God. Never speak against men of God. It brings curses for you and your children and Gods favour, grace etc. cease. Men of God just dont talk. God confirms their utterances. Thats amazing. Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever (1 Peter 1:22 - 1:23 KJV). The word of God is truth. When you act on it, you purify your soul. Youre cleanse by meditating on the word of God. Its like one taking a bath. The market place of life makes you dirty. Discussions, news, etc. Get to the word and purify your soul. Love without hypocrisy. Loving one another fervently without conditions. I was born again by the word of God. The same word that became Jesus gave birth to me. Im born of the word. The word lives and abide forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you (1 Peter 1:24 - 1:25 KJV). As the years go by, your body starts changing and you starts knowing that the outward beauty is just for a time. The inner beauty get better. Thats what the Lord sees. Thats the word of God. How wonderful and marvellous the Lord is. The word has given birth to us. Jesus has gone to heaven but left us here with the written word. We are offspring of the Word. Whats your nature? Who are you! Im of the Word and therefore I live by the word. Im conscious of who I am and I submit my will and everything to the word and see everything from Gods perspective. God expresses Himself through me. Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded (Proverbs 13:13 KJV). You walk in the path of destruction when you despise the word of God. As a Christian, change your way of thinking... I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:1 - 12:2 KJV). Be ye transfigured by the renewing of your mind. Your life begin to show the good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Going higher and higher. Change your way of thinking. Talk better than you did 5 years ago. Especially in the house of God. One of the key factors for spiritual growth is working in love. Its one of the signs that shows that youre growing. Not that youre smiling. Youre more loving and considerate of others and it shows that youre getting wiser and youre speech is more godly and your words shows Gods wisdom and not worldly wisdom. Worldly wisdom is shown with anger and Godly wisdom is humble and patient and kind and not proud. God doesnt like a proud look. God resist the proud and give grace to the humble. Someone may not like you but cannot stop your progress as you keep going higher. Humble yourself and the Lord will exalt you in due . Subdue yourself. Rein yourself in. Let go of pride and be humble and God will uplift you. The word of God will make more meaning to you when you do. We cry and rejoice when we read what you read with pride and dont get blessed. Get rid of pride and your understanding opens and youll begin to understand what Im teaching. Its not about me, its about the word. Youll love those that are begotten of Him. You should love those that are begotten of the Lord. We all cant be like you. God wants to see what Christ is in each and every one of us. I love who you are in Christ. You are so beautiful in whom Christ has made you. Were talking about children of the word. Were teaching to help everyone come out of carnality. That youve been a Christian long before me doesnt mean I cant know the word better than you. Does the word of God have mastery over your live? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar (Galatians 4:22 - 4:24 KJV). Isaac was born of the promise of the word of God. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now (Galatians 4:28 - 4:29 KJV). Fleshly minded people always persecute the children of the spirit. They want us to be like them before they can love us. When you experience such things, dont be surprised. Its scriptural. Im a child of the word. Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen (Romans 9:4 - 9:5 KJV). Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed. For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sarah shall have a son. And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated (Romans 9:7 - 9:13 KJV). When Jesus comes, the children of promise will be caught up with Him, but the children of the flesh will not be caught up with Him. In your life, how are you living! Are you giving attention to the word? Do you argue with the word? There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1 - 8:2 KJV). Are you living but the word by the spirit or carnally? Do you live by the word? For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh (Romans 8:3 KJV). Spiritual minded Christians think about how to help in the church, not condemnation and complaints. He thinks differently. Theyre always happy about everything in the church. I was glad when they say lets go to the house of the Lord. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (Romans 8:5 KJV). What will please the Holy Spirit is the concern of the children of God. Carnal minded people think about convenience. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Romans 8:6 KJV). Talk to the Lord. Worship Him.
