Glorify the Name of Jesus Precious child of God, We many a time wonder why things are not always working out for us the way we so desire. We have, at all times, be connected to God, who will at the right time grant us knowledge, insight and understanding pertaining to the things of life. So my dear one, let us stay focussed on Jesus. He never makes a mistake and will gently guide us to our ultimate destiny. Here are some thoughts on how we can please our Master, even Jesus the Christ. Love ~ Uncle Jacques. Psalms 34:3 ”Oh, MAGNIFY THE LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.” • Let the Name of Jesus be glorfied, then in everything, strangely enough, we will be satisfied. We may, however, be tested and tried, but the strength, courage and grace to see us through, will us not be denied. 1 Peter 4:16 ”Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him GLORIFY GOD in this matter.” • Let us honour our King, through the message of Salvation and hope, to lost souls we bring; instead of doing our own thing. • Let our walk and talk magnify the Lords Name; live in such a manner, not to cause Him shame ~ His or our own characters to maim. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and GLORIFY YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN.” • Let us speak the truth in love, soft and tender as words, direct from heaven above ~ on the wings of a pure white dove. Ephesians 4:15 - 16 ”But, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ - from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:32 ”And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.” • Let the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit be lifted up high, then most of our prayers and requests, will not be denied ~ We will then not continually ask: ”Why, why, why?” Psalms 106:1 ”PRAISE THE LORD! Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalms 99:5 ”Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at His footstool - He is holy.” • Let the Name of the Lord, in all circumstances be praised, instead of complaints we raise. Let us surrender to Him all our ways, and be sold out to Him, for the rest of our days. Psalms 86:12 ”I WILL PRAISE YOU, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I WILL GLORIFY YOUR NAME FOREVERMORE.” • Our obedience brings such honour to our Lord, as we live with people in one accord ~ peace with all to afford; for that is where there is or us a rich reward. • The Lord is then pleased, and our heavy burden He will then ease, as His power is released. Psalms 135:3 ”PRAISE THE LORD, for the LORD is good; SING PRAISES TO HIS NAME, for it is pleasant.” • Let the theme of our lives be, to glorify and exalt our God ~ that will change our hearts, to give us a new start ~ Now that is being smart!
