Glorious Morning Family. Yesturday I witnessed the power of prayer. On Saturday my cousin Mychelle Standing and I went to visit my Momma. Again my Dad was encouraged to give up on her and provide comfort care. He stood headstrong to the Dr. and he told him that he had faith in a Dr. stronger than him. He gestured towards the ceiling and said, My God will heal her. That evening Mom was in and out of sleep. I woke her and she acknowledged me by smiling. As I stood there and looked at her, I thought about what the Dr. was telling me. He did say the she was given the strongest antibiotics to help with her healing. But she wasnt improving so he felt we needed to make a choice. My Dad once again told the Dr. that she was still responsive. And that she herself told her other Dr. she wants to live. I told the Dr. that I was in full support of my Dads decision. And if worse comes to worse they are to do all they can to keep her alive. As I left that evening I prayed with Mom. I asked God for healing of Moms weak body. Yesturday I went to see her. She was propped up, watching TV. I greeted her and she smiled at me. Seeing her alert and awake and responding made my day. My family and I were given permission to pray with her all together. So 9 of us squeezed into her ICU room. We praised and sang with her. As I stood there I watched all the miracles themselves in there. My cousin Mark and Patricia Beatty christian and sober for years. My Brother Bill and his wife Lucille. My cousin Patty and her husband Robert Zahgotah. My cousin Etta Williams and myself. All clean and sober and miracles of God. Just to be in the presence of those miracles. I do not give up on God! He will pull my Momma through the storm. But more importantly the nurse mentioned that the secretions from her lungs were getting clearer. HALLELUJAH!! GOD IS WORKING HIS MIRACLES. I thank you all for your Love and Support. I ask for your continued prayers. I am grateful so spend more time with Mom. Ahi yeeh!
