Gloucester Twp. rescue is high-wire act GLOUCESTER TWP. — Firefighters rescued two electrical workers who were stranded some 50 feet above Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township. The workers, from JBL Electric Co., were trapped for about 45 minutes when a motorized Sky-Lift malfunctioned Monday, according to township police. The workers were performing maintenance on high-voltage power lines near Maple Avenue for PSE&G. Members of the Chews Landing Fire Department rescued the stranded workers with their ladder truck. The workers were not injured.
