Glow Today: NEW WAYS See, I am doing a new thing!Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.(Is 43:19) The difference in outlook makes all the difference. A wasteland may seem nothing to us, but for a master architect it may be a location for his resort. The Lord is never perturbed seeing the closed doors we encounter. He is the Lord of all.Many a time only when we are still can He do something. We try putting our human dependence and trust in many things we see. A sick person puts hope in the doctor,employees on employers, friends on each other. We put our hopes on men and only when we are disappointed will we learn to trust in God . Many times we become so active that we spoil the entire plan and purposes of God for our life by our negative words and acts of distrust.When we give up, when we reach the end of the road-He takes over. He sees highways in what we think as wastelands. The people of Israel thought that the Red Sea was the end of it all-but God had already made a way. Moses had to stretch the rod in faith to part the sea.Today are you staring at closed doors? Remember to seek God regarding it. When faith builds up inside of you stretch the rod of faith. He will make a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
