Go East We have an existing student exchange with Symbiosis Law School in Pune and we hope shortly to begin one with the National Law School of India University in Bangalore, two of the leading law schools in India. We are also hoping to have a number of other shorter-term study programmes in India in collaboration with these and other partners. The British Council recently launched a scheme - Generation UK India - to send 25,000 UK students to India over the next five years, as teaching assistants in Indian schools, gaining work experience at top Indian companies, or on specially organised cultural immersion courses.
