Create Halloween Costume Accessories – the Library will provide materials and stimulate your imagination at this costume craft workshop Tues., Oct. 22. Watch “Nightmare Before Christmas,” the classic Halloween movie on Teen Movie Mon., Oct. 21 at the Moorpark Library. Ghost Hunting is back by popular demand on Oct. 24 when Sandy Carlson shares her unique perspective and fascinating insights on adventures into the unknown. Doing Good CASA Blanca Pop-Up Dinner will be an elegant black & white “pop-up” dinner at an amazing and unexpected location. Funds raised support CASA of Ventura County. Tickets are $35, at 3 p.m. Sat. Oct. 12. Sponsorships available. The Moorpark Beer Tasting Festival supporting Moorpark Rotary will feature double the number of breweries, live music and an expanded VIP area this year at the new venue on the Moorpark College grounds, Sat. Oct. 12. The event sold out last year, so buy tickets in advance online. Rendezvous at the Zoo on Thurs., Oct. 10 combines wild animal encounters, wine and hors d’oeuvres with “fun-draising” and a silent auction to benefit EATM scholarships, hosted by America’s Teaching Zoo.
