Go Tigers! Two record-setting running backs will be showcased tonight when Mount Pleasant clashes with Owen in Black Mountain in the third round of the state playoffs. After 384 yards against North Rowan, Mount Pleasants Cody Reece now has 2,782 yards on the ground and 33 touchdowns. Owen runner Jager Gardner broke the Western North Carolina career rushing record in last week’s 56-7 win over Salisbury.
