Go To Sleep! There is a reason why patients are brought into a state of coma before a major operation. This is because the patient may interfere with the process if he is awake and that might lead to death. No wonder why God made a covenant with Abraham only when he fell asleep (Gen 15:12-18). When making woman, God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam. “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. (Gen 2:21-22) This is wisdom! Some of you are too awake for God to work in your life. Its time to go to sleep! When one is asleep, one loses complete consciousness of everything. Imagine if Adam was awake when God was making Eve; Adam could have complicated the process with anxiety, pressure and unnecessary questioning. God caused a deep sleep to fall on him; he awoke and saw the bone of his bone and the flesh of his flesh standing before him. I think I should talk to some of you ladies out there. Its time to go to sleep regarding the issue of finding the love of your life. You might have complicated the process by being too awake trying to figure out when, how and where you will find him. Its time to go to sleep and allow God to work. Some of you need to go to sleep regarding other issues of your life. To go to sleep means to stop being anxious and to lose consciousness regarding the issue at stake, while trusting God to make all things beautiful in his own time.
