Go ahead, Christians. Try to explain an egocentric God who wants constant adulation, adoration, worship and love to be lavished on him at all times and who asks a distraught woman whose father threatened to kill her for ADORATION when she is tired, upset and agitated and in need of comfort, assurance and sympathy. Explain to me why your god is so unable and unwilling to ease the distress of one of his children who dedicated 31 years of her life to prayer, Bible reading, church attendance and religious service and at least tried to obey and please him. Explain why, when his children are in a difficult situation from which they cannot get out, he sits back, watches and then ASKS to be WORSHIPPED. Go ahead. Explain what is so great about serving a god who behaves like that. But do not be arrogant and unhappy with me when I say that I now ask other gods for help - and get it.
