Goals! Goals are so important to have. Write them down. Tell others about them. Work towards accomplishing those goals. You can do anything you set your mind to. Did you make goals for 2014? If not, make some now. I have 3 this year. (Strengthen core, increase flexibility, and eat clean) All I think about is ABS. ABS, abs, Abs, all day long. My lower back use to kill me after a core workout. Some days I could barely move I was in so much pain. I had good form and squeezing all the right muscles during my workout but I was just so weak. Now, core work is still challenging but my lower back is so much stronger. Its amazing how quickly muscle deteriorates and how long it takes to build them back up. Thats why fitness is a constant battle. Next flexibility, been slacking in this department. I do extra stretches before and after my workouts but on my off days I havent done a stretching video. Tomorrow I am going to do 3 sun salutations when I get out of bed and before I go to bed. Next month i will add to this. Lastly and most importantly clean eating. With two kids, a husband, and living in BFE, making all my meals on Sunday just doesnt work for us. What I do: Plan out menus and buy those ingredients. Plus by not buying c.r.a.p. our food is healthy.
