Goals Thursday League Results: Columbia - 17-5 - Full Time Legends Fiorentina Turner - 15-7 - Sporting Abeergut Columbia maintained their unbeaten run tonight despite having a somewhat depleted side. Captain Stewart Hanson led the side tonight against a changed Full Time Legend team hoping to cause an upset against the current champions. The game started tightly with both teams creating chances but it was through some clinical finishing that gave Columbia a well deserved victory. Elsewhere, Fiorentina Turner kept the pressure on league leaders Columbia with another convincing win over Sporting Abeergut. Both sides were missing players tonight and the game began quite cagey. Sporting took the league however through some neat interplay and the Turner looked a bit bewildered. They soon equalised however and began looking dominant. Strong forward play from new boy Darren Currie proved too much for the Sporting back line who passed home time and again. The results see no change at the top, Columbia still unbeaten and 5 points ahead of Fiorentina Turner. Sporting Abeergut remain at the foot of the table despite having only recently joined the league.
