Goals are a GOOD THING! They can make you push harder and really strive for what you want. Unfortunately, when not well-constructed, they can become more like daunting obstacles that can actually hold you back. Dont look at the big picture. Its too much. Take each piece and break it down. Lets say you want to lose 50lbs by January 2016. That seems like a lot, right? Not once you break it down. That means you would need to lose about 4 pounds per month. Getting better? Yep! Even better it is a pound per week which is totally doable! Sounds better than 50, huh? If you are looking at financial goals you can break it all the way down to how much in a day.
