Gobekli Tepe is a complex of stone circles and rooms covering 20 acres. It is 7,000 years older than Stonehenge in England and 6,500 years older than the Pyramids in Egypt. It was built without the use of-- The Wheel Metal Tools Writing Domesticated Animals Domesticated Plants They cut the 20-foot pillars out of a quarry and hauled them uphill to the stone circles! Gobekli Tepe is currently being excavated, and only a small fraction of the area has been uncovered so far. A Totem Pole statue has been found at the site as well as many animal statues.
