God Answers Prayer! Jeremiah 33:3 (MSG) “This is God’s Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as God: “Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.” My Wife and I have been praying for something for a long time. Last Sunday, God has answered our prayer. Sunday was a very wonderful day for my Wife and myself. I will keep this in my heart but all I want everyone to know is that God is faithful to his word. He is in the business of changing lives and in our family he is doing that. We just want to praise God for what his is doing. God you have answered our prayer. You have always been with us and you have never left our side. Your word tells us that. We have remained faithful to you in all things and in all our struggles and in all our good times. We follow your word, “I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you’re joined with me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can’t produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire. But if you make yourselves at home with me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who he is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples”. John 15:5-8 Your word tells us you hear our prayers. Psalm 55:16-19, “I call to God; God will help me. At dusk, dawn, and noon I sigh deep sighs—he hears, he rescues. My life is well and whole, secure in the middle of danger Even while thousands are lined up against me. God hears it all, and from his judge’s bench puts them in their place. But, set in their ways, they won’t change; they pay him no mind.” We have learned in our life that God is in Control. Also that we are in God’s hands and nothing can even take us away from him. …For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5–6 We have come to this conclusion, It is Christ who comes to our rescue, he comes to where we are. We will never be ready, or hearts clean enough to ever come on our own. Christ comes to where we are in the dirt, in all of our sin, to save us. God is calling all of us, he continues to come to the door of our heart and he knocks waiting for us to open the door, and is wanting to take us and save us from where we are. We are all sinful, Romans 3:23 “All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.” We are all in different situations, we struggle in so many things but through it all, here is the promis in the second part to Romans 3:23, in Romans 3:24, “But God treats us much better than we deserve, and because of Christ Jesus, he freely accepts us and sets us free from our sins.” This is why God is first in me and my Wife’s life. He is the one who takes care of us, who provides for us, and gives us shelter. This is why we love Him. Because He is God! Today, know that God is with you. Look to him and he will direct you. Pray: God thank you for answering our prayers, as we read your word you prove to us your glorious blessing. Help us to listen to you when you call on our hearts. Help us to call on you in our times of need. Amen.
