God-Damn, theres a lot more Id like to say about the Stewart-Nellis shootings to-day, but have already said a lot as it is. Guess it comes down to this, and Ive thought and said plenty of revolutionary stupidities in my time-if ones going to believe in and advocate using violence and picks up a weapon to carry it out, one might be commended for taking ones logic to its ultimate conclusion. But, the consistency of thats a tiny virtue in comparison with the evil one ends up committing. Theory and rhetoric were made action by the shooters to-day, but the damn theory and rhetoric behind the action stank on ice, as did the results. Five people, including the shooters themselves, are dead because of bad theory, worse rhetoric, and rotten action, and the families and friends of all of these, and those wounded or witnesses-bystanders to the shootings, are going to have to live with the results the rest of their days. Reasoning and theory alone dont kill. Reasoning, theory, and rhetoric alone dont kill. Its when all three are combined with the desire and will to kill that they become murderous, and their results thoroughly rotten. Its the God-Damn application of those that can stink. Theres no need for this, I believe. And so, I shut up about this for now.
