God Is Not A Boss...Live Free So all the officials and people who entered into this covenant agreed that they would free their male and female slaves and no longer hold them in bondage. They agreed, and set them free. But afterward they turned around and took back the male servants and the female servants whom they had set free, and brought them into subjection for male servants and for female servants. Jer 34:10-11 In the world and religious systems, if one works as a slave in bondage his boss will be happy with him, but if one works as a free son his boss will fire him. Bosses do not want to hear about the freedom rights of their slaves. GOD IS NOT A MAN! * Jesus (God in the flesh) came to proclaim freedom for the slaves; He says, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” - Lk 4:18-19. To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free...“Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (Jn 8:31-36). * The Jews took God for a boss they must work as slaves to please until Jesus came and introduced God as the loving Father to us; the Father that loves and cares for His children, See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.- 1Jn 3:1 Those in Christ are not like the officials/bosses/kings of this world, Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves- Lk 22:25-26. BELIEVERS ARE NOT SELF-MADE BENEFACTORS, BUT BROTHERS OF ONE FATHER - Matt 23:8-12. * God is neither a boss nor like an unjust judge, and He will see that you get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” > God has proclaimed your freedom by paying all your debts through Jesus Christ, and it takes faith to walk in that freedom; for we walk by faith- 2Cor 5:7. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery...See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. He is the head over every power and authority...Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind. They have lost connection with the head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow Gal 5:1. Col 2:8-10,16-19. * You are already qualified/freed in Christ Jesus, do not let those with idle notions by their unspiritual mind disqualify/enslave you again. Neither be ye deceived by their false humility and fake worship; do not tolerate it if anyone enslaves you, anyone devours you, anyone takes advantage of you, anyone exalts himself, anyone hits you in the face- 2Cor 11:20. Paul said, Now you, brothers and sisters, like Isaac, are children of promise. At that time the son born according to the flesh persecuted the son born by the power of the Spirit. It is the same now. But what does Scripture say? “Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman’s son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman’s son.” Therefore, brothers and sisters, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman...But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother (Gal 4:28-31.26). + For those who are born again in Christ Jesus: As free, speak the truth fearlessly and without hindrance in Jesus Name! - Acts 28:31.
