God Is Not The Variable Why do some believers move from death - TopicsExpress

God Is Not The Variable Why do some believers move from death to life, darkness to light, chaos to order and depression to joy while other believers seem to continue in the misery of chronic failure and lives filled with drama and lack? Have we not all been made new creations? Are we not all filled with the very presence and nature of God? Why are the results so different? Does God love some more than others, or does He treat some better than others? At first we might assume that our natural lives and backgrounds established our destinies regardless of our faith, but then we hear testimonies of those who were in prison, or thousands of dollars of debt, who were uneducated or came from broken homes and marriages, or were sick with terminal diseases and they share stories of victory and blessing. Why do some have such wonderful testimonies while others seem trapped in lives of continual loss? Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. (James 1:17) God is not the variable. God is continually and constantly good, unchanging and has provided for man’s every need through the Gospel. Understanding the true nature of God is the first step in breaking free from failure, loss and heartache. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) More to follow…..
