God Provides “If the Lord delights in a man’s way, he makes his steps firm; though he stumbles, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand.” Psalms 37:23-24 By trusting in God and obeying his commands for our lives, he gives us the promise that he will watch over us, protect us, provide for us and our families, and give us the wisdom to make the decisions necessary for our families that we have to make each and every day of our lives. In his Word he gives us the way we are to live our life each day, and how we are to love and respect our fellow man. By following his commands and obeying his will, he will show us the way and make our steps firm. Psalm 105:3-4 “Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.” Although we may stumble from time to time in our daily life God will not confront us with obstacles and burdens that we cannot bear. If we live our lives in a way that is pleasing to him, he promises to watch over us and protect us from harm and will let us prosper in whatever we do. Our plans and dreams will succeed and our lives will be full of his blessings. Psalm 112:1-3 “Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands. Wealth and riches are in his house and his righteousness endures forever.” God tells us that by living our life for him we will have the peace, joy and happiness in our lives that he promises. If we want our lives to be a life of joy and happiness, simply trust in Jesus and follow his commands, and he will bestow his blessings on everything we do. God is faithful in his promise as stated in the scriptures above. He will bless our homes and our families if we are faithful in following and obeying his commands. God has poured out his blessings on my family throughout the years, because I believe we have been faithful to him. He has provided my family all our needs and has protected and blessed us all throughout the years. He continues to pour out his blessings to my children and their families as they are also following his commands. Galatians 6:4 “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.” These fruits of the spirit mentioned above are the traits that each of us must develop in our everyday lives to really experience the outpouring of God’s favor on our lives. God wants us to be happy and have peace in our lives, and if he delights in our ways he will bless us in every way as he promises us throughout the Bible. Simply following God’s word and putting it into practice in our everyday lives will assure us of a peace that we have not experienced before.
