God Sent Me For You #BringingHumanityBack Challenge accepted and Submitted by Anonymous Sent by Anonymous: This man beats the streets of Mumbai for 12-14hrs/day 7 days/wk and been doing this for a long time. Today as I left my hotel, I struck a good conversation with him and the struggles to support family. At 57 he is not thinking of resting due to support he has to provide for family. So I kept him with me all whilst I went for dinner etc. I treated him to makai (sweetcorn), Starbucks hot chocolate and a warm blueberry muffin (which I just got for him without asking him). Muffin he said he has saved for his son. He refused my offers of a meal at any takeaway of his choice. On way, I found out he has tea & biscuits during day during breaks. Well, cue some shopping and I bought him a variety of biscuits along with bag of rice & daal etc. coming just over Rs.1K. Dropping me off at hotel, he said I was forgetting my shopping on the seat. I said it doesnt belong to me. He understood & had the biggest smile and I settled his Rs. 250 meter bill with Rs. 1K and he started looking for change whereas I had walked away and he understood as he looked up. This has opened my eyes because of the video I saw of yours. Tomorrow I return back to London. It has been a good trip for the soul albeit for work. Will return and do my little bit again.
