God Will Bless You In That Land “The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all thou settest thine hand unto, and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee”. Deuteronomy 28:8 If you are reading Deuteronomy 28, don’t ever forget verse one, because that is the key that unlocks the rest. That verse began by saying ‘it shall come to pass’ in other words, it is without any shadow of doubt, no natter the situation, it shall come to pass. It went further to say that ‘if you shall diligently harken to the voice of the Lord your God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command you this day that the Lord will set you above. Then verse two says “And all these blessings shall come unto thee and overtake thee IF thou shalt harken unto the voice of the Lord thy God” (emphasis mine). Notice for the second time the word Hearken was used. And the blessings continued into verse eight where it says “...and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee” Whatever the land God has placed you in; He will bless you in it. Land here can refer to a geographical location – north, south, east or west of the globe. Whether you are in your own country or in a foreign land, God says, I will bless you. Land may also refer to your area of vocation, it may be your profession or line of business; God will bless you in that land. It’s not about trying to manipulate, He knows that you are there and He knows how to orchestrate things in your favour. It is a supernatural thing and not about what man can do. Romans 9:16 says “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy”. People may not recommend you, they may not think that you are qualified, you may not even know any person in the organisation but God says I will bless you. But the key is “thou shall hearken unto the Lord thy God.” Beloved, you cannot hearken until you have heard. You need to constantly hear His voice. Many voices are speaking today and you need to know which one is the voice of the master. Jesus said in John 10:27, “My sheep hear My voice and I know them, and they follow Me”. They follow so that they will not miss their way. For you to hear His voice and follow Him, you must be intimate with Him. I release upon you today the grace for an intimate walk with God. I declare your ears open to hear Him and your heart willing to follow Him and as you follow, I command every blessing of the Father to rest upon you in Jesus name.
