God commands us, along with Joshua, to learn His Word and speak it in prayer to receive His blessings. Then well be able to pray with the great expectation of His power being demonstrated in, through, and for us. Mouthing words or putting on the appearance of holiness with no inner transformation gets us nowhere fast. God knows the desires of our heart, and He wants us to hunger after His presence. (Jeremiah 29:13). Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!!!
