God dag in Norway, Ms./ Mr, We are a non-governmental organization from Ventspils, Latvia, that works with children and young people with severe disabilities - Support center for families and children with special needs Cimdins . As I mentioned we are a non-governmental organization and basically living on donations and projects. At present, we have applied for funding of projects in the EEA competition where one of the conditions is a partner (from Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein) involvement in the project activities. Now, we have pasted a 1st turn of competition already, but for the 2nd turn we need a partner to sign a partnership statement with. Our main aim of this 24 months project is to provide children from Ventspils city and region - the promotion of development activities - a speech therapist, Montessori specialist, music therapy , psychologist , special educator, social worker and rehabilitation specialist, assistant (as we have children with severe mental disabilities). As the main result of the project activities will be developed innovative methodology for social offices of local municipalities for work with children and youth with special needs at their living places, provided social integration measures for theses children and youth. And one of the activities of the project is going to Norway (somewhere in spring 2015) - to the similar institutions - for example day care centers, specialized kindergartens, schools (mainly interested in facilities, where works with children / young people with severe disabilities) to share experience, to share methodology , etc. For the purpose to sign the partnership statement we are intended to go to Norway in April 2014 to sign partnership statement. All expenses are covered by the project. If we pass the 2nd turn of competition, only than we can go to exchange of experience. The main things for the partnership statement are- name of partner, official address, name of representative, phone number, registration number, web page address, signature, that You agree to be our partner. No needs for money or anything else. If your organization cant help us to be our partner, please let us know the contacts of organization who may help us and who can be and agrees to be our partner.
