God did not plan for us to live out our earthly lives in fear and trembling. Jesus said in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Some have fallen away from God and have relied on their own devices. They have built their houses on sand. Others who call themselves Christians do not attend church to fellowship with other believers. They do not witness to the glory of God and do not revere Him in all they do. It is time for us to put God first in our lives and give Him our talents, thoughts, actions, money and time. We who trust in God know that although the world may change and crumble, God’s Word and His promises remain forever. They are the rock on which we have built our futures and our hope, and they will not fail. When we turn to Him, the very windows of heaven will open and we will be showered with abundant blessing.
