God expects us to finally give us a revival . In Isaiah 33.9-10 is written on this subject : . Earth groans and faints : Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon becomes like a desert , and Bashan and Carmel are stripped of their leaves now will I arise , saith the Lord , I will lift myself now I will be exalted . That God spoke to Israel at that time . In Jesus Christ and through Christ He says the same things to us today . God , when he says : Now will I arise , saith the Lord, I will lift myself now I will be exalted , does so because the land was moaning and fainting . And with that he wants to express exactly what is written in Isaiah 44.3 : . For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty , and floods upon the dry ground : I will pour my Spirit upon thy seed , and my blessing upon thine offspring And that is exactly what God wants to give to a land that in his eyes , is moaning and fainting . Of course that promise is worth first for Israel , but I am so glad that I can be sure that the Lord addresses these words to us today also .
