God has a sense of humor ! Normally our dog, Mister D starts whimpering to go out about 4:30a but I can usually persuade him to wait a while with a tummy rub. At 5:00a he was still sleeping soundly so I turned over to enjoy a few extra moments... Then I heard Larrys #13 feet kicking off cover (as best he could being paralyzed on his left side) so I got up to help him & crawled back into bed, hoping that Mister D would stay asleep. Larry was making these noises that husbands make when they want you to wake up but dont want to just outright wake you up. So I asked if he was okay but he was still hot so he said when you let Mister out, please cut down the thermostat. Meaning, please go down now & cut the a/c down. I carefully crawled out of bed & crept downstairs, cut the a/c down & went back upstairs. Larry had already started snoring. Again, crept back into bed to let both sleeping dogs & husband continue sleeping. Just ready to drift off, sun beginning to come up & Larry starts talking in his sleep...to AT&T renegotiating our cell service because he was referring to Verizon & Obama phones ! ( Most men talk about other women in their sleep...mine deals with business) By that time, with Mister D still asleep, I just gave up... woke Mister D up myself & started my morning routine !
