God has been calling my name so much lately. I have been reading scripture after scripture. Researching the evolution of the bible. But my true test of faith happened Saturday evening as Chris and I where rushing to the hospital to be with his family, for his MawMaw. We pulled into a gas station, Chris went inside to pay for our gas. The elderly lady walks up to me, of course my first thought was she wanted money. Which I did not have much on me at all, but the she simply said I do not want to ask you for money, I just wonder if you would please buy me some meat and bread? Instantly right then I knew I would do this for her and unto our Lord. I asked her several questions, are you hungry, yes mam Where do you live, in an abandoned house about 4 or 5 blocks away Do you have family no maam. We walked into the restaurant, and I asked her what she wanted, she replied whatever you can afford for me breaking my heart, I counted my money as we walked up to the counter, where apparently everyone knew her. I asked her name, and introduced myself to her formally. The cashier asked what Ms Shirley wanted, and I spoke up and told her I had exactly 12 dollars, all the money I had, and to give her as much as she could with this 12 dollars. Ms Shirley leaned over and gave me the biggest hug, I could feel the blessings just running right through me. I asked her when she would be back, that I will come back and buy her more, Im not rich, Im not poor, but I will help the one who truly needs it. The cashier continued on telling me she comes here every day, never ever ask for money, and his currently going through chemo at UAB. I got the cashiers name and told her I would be back, and if she wasnt here when I arrived that would they please let me buy her food and give it to her for me? I was kind if in a rush as we where headed to be with Chris family in time of need. I told Shirley since I have no way of getting in touch with her I will call up to the restaurant and buy her food. As I walked back out to the car and looked at Chris, I knew without a doubt God was testing my faith, and I would most certainly give Ms Shirley my last dollar anytime. Thank you Lord. 😍😍
