God has indeed blinked just one of His eyes on natal Liberia as there are favorable news unfolding about an apparent slowdown in calls for Ebola pickup. As great and welcoming this development is, I would like to assert that disease analysts are revealing and pointing to the huge death suffered by Liberians as being the cause of bad crisis handling exhibited by the Liberian government. Credible narratives have it that children, old folks, and pregnant women literally lost their lives from curable illnesses and not Ebola. Hasty isolation of untested people, hunger, stigmatization, and wrong placement of individuals among highly Ebola infected people resulted to Liberia topping the list of disease casualties in affected countries. Eye witnesses on ground say, suspected people were openly seeing being dumped in abandoned medical facilities around Monrovia without any food for hours, and days. Fear mongering, and bad management including rampant corruption of Ebola funds were also a serious cause of the untimely death of uninfected Liberians, according to the post Ebola developments.
