God has not given us a spirit of FEAR, but of power, love and of a SOUND MIND. (2 Timothy 1:7) The POWER (dynameōs) spoken of here, is the same as the one spoken in Acts 6:8 which Steven was said to be full of, when performing signs and wonders among the people. The LOVE (agapēs) spoken of here, is the same as the one spoken in 1 Timothy 1:14 which is said to be found in Christ. The SOUND MIND (sōphronismos) spoken of here, is also translated as SELF CONTROL. Now I know most people will be lashed over the concept of POWER, and some may even be moved by the notion of LOVE, but I am personally drawn to the idea of SELF CONTROL That being said, I pose the question If you feel that when you are under the spirit or when you let the spirit take over it causes you to act in a way that shows no self control (uncontrollable screaming, rolling around, bumping into people, etc...) And you cannot control it are you sure that it is the spirit of God? Are you SURE youre not being led by a DIFFERENT spirit? #OnlyAsking #IfYouAreTheEmotionalType #DontEvenComment
