God has pursued us and revealed Himself to us so that we become carriers of the Kingdom. The resurrection power of the cross is within every believer from the moment he or she is “reborn” in the Spirit. The only place the Bible tells us to strive is when we are striving to enter His rest (see Hebrews 4: 11). We can rest in knowing that the Kingdom of God is within us, and as we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and as we follow, we begin to encounter deeper and deeper levels of His presence. We are in God’s love, and His love is within us. His Kingdom within us is stronger than any atmosphere we’ll ever walk into, and the atmosphere of the Kingdom within us is stronger than any circumstance we’ll ever encounter. We may not always feel that way, but it is a spiritual reality we can act on. Whether we’re speaking healing over a person, over a city or over a nation, there is power in our words when we proclaim, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Dawkins, Robby (2013-06-15). Do What Jesus Did: A Real-Life Field Guide to Healing the Sick, Routing Demons and Changing Lives Forever (pp. 52-54). Baker Publishing Group. Kindle Edition.
