God help me, I attempted to watch Rush Hour 3 as a way of entertaining Mom tonight. It seemed like a good idea on the face of it: I mean, Max von Sydow is in it, Roman Polanski has an extended cameo, and Youki Kudoh (Mystery Train, Heavens Burning) plays a dragon-lady who has fight scenes with Jackie Chan. None of this in any way redeems the film - its awful, obnoxious, lame. Why was Chris Tucker ever famous, again? Is he gone, now?
